My name is Krista Lawrence, and I am the supervisor of Juvenile Probation and Parole. I am writing today in strong support of Jillian Kennard-Tso. I have known Mrs. Tso for approximately 20 years. I was thrilled to see her on the first day of school, as she was a student-teacher in my daughter’s kindergarten class at McKinley Elementary. Mrs. Tso was kind, gentle, and always creative when teaching the children. She exemplified these qualities daily when working with my daughter, and it was with great disappointment that her term as a student teacher had to end this semester. My daughter was very saddened on her last day, and she talks about Mrs. Tso and the many things she did with the kindergarten class daily. Mrs. Tso will make a wonderful teacher, and it is for these reasons that it is my honor to recommend Mrs. Jillian Kennard-Tso for any teaching position with the school district.

To whom it may concern,

We are pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Jillian Tso.  Ms Tso student taught at McKinley Elementary School in the fall of 2008 in our daughter's kindergarten classroom.  In our opinion, Ms Tso is a caring hard worker who invariably understands exactly what a classroom is all about. Not only are we fortunate enough to have our child in Mrs. Miller's class at McKinley, but our child also got to experience a young, energetic student teacher that obviously cares deeply for her kids.  During one of Ms Tso's student teaching exercises, she came to our home and vistited with our family.  This gave us the opportunity to get to know the person who will have a career influencing young people.  It is easy for me to recommend Jillian Tso for employment as an educator.  She connected with my daughter in the short period of time that they shared.  Ms Tso will make an excellent addition to any school’s staff.
